Rock Glen Motel is a 10 room motel with cooking facilities available in all rooms. Each room has two double beds. We pride ourselves on a clean, pleasant,friendly and relaxing atmosphere. All cable TV channels are available at no extra charge. Adjacent to the motel is a 30 seat restaurant, laundromat & ice cream parlour. We are situated close to the Rock Glen Conservation Area, Arkona Fairways Golf Course & the Ausable River noted for excellent pickerel, trout & salmon fishing.

Rock Glen Conservation Area is a 1700 hectare valley designated an area of National Scientific interest. The Ausable Gorge carved out thousands of years ago by the river exposing underlying fossized bedrock, making the gorge a world-renowned treasure for fossil enthusiasts. Also Rock Glen Falls is a popular spot for people to cool themselves on hot days. The river is also a scenic canoe route when the river is high. Buffalo can be viewed at a farm on Rock Glen Road. We are surrounded by many quality golf courses including the top rated Arkona Fairways. Lake Huron's Pinery Provincial Park and the resort of Grand Bend are nearby.
When it comes to fresh fruit and beautiful scenery, Arkona has more than it's fair share. Orchards with thousands of fruit trees including apples, pears, cherries, plums & peaches surround the village. Blossom time in spring is something to behold and harvest time is even better. The forest is home to exceptionally diverse plants and animals that are rare to Canada. The Southern Flying Squirrel, Hooded Warbler, Queen Snake, Tulip Tree, Horn Beams & Sweet Joe-Pye-Weed are just a few Carolinian species that inhabit the 100' gorge.
